The Ahansal River
|
When you think of a tour of Morocco, you think quickly to the Sahara, camels, sun and exotic scenery. But have you heard of the High Atlas Mountains? In winter it is full of snow and summer are formed from the melt water, few large rivers. This bright, blue, icy winds its whitewater below a temperature of up to 30 degrees way through the red-colored mountains. It is an ideal combination of desert and mountainous landscape. Going downriver in Morocco is the dream of almost all lovers of rafting. While white-water enthusiasts have been riding the cataracts of the Atlas Mountains for decades, Morocco’s only just beginning to enter the wide public consciousness as a top rafting and kayaking destination. If you are 16 years of age and are searching for adventure, regardless of previous experience, then our multi day trip "Morocco's Grand Canyon" on the Ahansal River is where you should be. This trip takes you through some of the most beautiful and pristine river wilderness in Morocco.

The whole area in the Atlas Mountains are extremely beautiful ! I never seen anything like this before. So it's so worth it. everything was well taken care off and I love being on the water and not knowing what to come next. :D The people were friendly and the safety was number 1 priority! :D

Just returned for a fabulous trip with Yann and James on the Azilal river in Morocco. Truly a wonderful experience. They run a great trip, very professional, we always felt that our safety came first while at the same time keeping us relaxed and enjoying every minute. Amazing scenery and the best way to switch off! Thank you Berber Rafting!
